Château Lynch-Bages, a venerable estate with roots tracing back to the 18th century, is a jewel in the prestigious Pauillac appellation on Bordeaux's left bank. Under the ownership of the Cazes family, notably managed by Jean-Charles Cazes, the estate has carved its place among the elite, bearing the coveted classification of Cinquième Cru (Fifth Growth) in the Bordeaux Classification of 1855.

The vineyards of Château Lynch-Bages span around 100 hectares, where classic Bordeaux grape varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot – thrive in the deep gravel soils. This terroir, coupled with a commitment to traditional winemaking, shapes wines that are renowned for their robustness, depth, and impressive aging potential.

Following traditional methods, the grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel or wooden vats, and the wines are gracefully aged in oak barrels, including a significant portion of new oak. The resulting wines, characterized by dark fruit flavors, notes of cedar, tobacco, and the distinctive Pauillac minerality, showcase a harmonious interplay of elements. The structured tannins contribute to their longevity, allowing Château Lynch-Bages wines to evolve and mature gracefully over time.

As a Cinquième Cru, the estate stands as a beacon of quality, and its commitment to innovation is evident in its embrace of modern techniques and sustainable viticulture practices. Alongside its grand vin, Château Lynch-Bages produces Echo de Lynch-Bages, a second wine that offers a more approachable expression of the estate's terroir.
