Chanterêves
Chanterêves is a small, highly regarded Burgundy wine estate founded by Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott. Based in the Côte de Beaune, around Savigny-lès-Beaune, the domaine has built a strong reputation among wine enthusiasts for its precise, elegant, and artisanal approach to winemaking.
The estate produces limited quantities of wines from classic Burgundy grape varieties, including Chardonnay, Aligoté, and Pinot Noir. The style of Chanterêves is defined by purity, freshness, finesse, and a strong sense of place. The winemaking philosophy is close to the “natural wine” movement, with careful vineyard work and minimal intervention in the cellar, aiming to let the character of the grapes and terroir shine through.
Among the domaine’s most appreciated wines are its Bourgogne Aligoté “Bas des Ees”, known for its energy and minerality; Hautes-Côtes de Beaune “Les Monts de Fussey”, offering depth and tension; and its Savigny-lès-Beaune and other Pinot Noir cuvées, which express a delicate and refined Burgundian character. In stronger vintages, Chanterêves also produces more prestigious appellations, including selected Premier Cru wines.
