    Located just below Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Chapelle-Chambertin covers roughly 5.5 hectares, making it one of the smallest Grand Crus in the area. It is divided into two sub-climats: La Chapelle and Les Gémeaux. The vineyard has a slightly cooler microclimate and a gentle slope, with soils of limestone and marl that contribute to the finesse and aromatic complexity of the wines.

    Wines from Chapelle-Chambertin are typically floral and finely structured, with flavors of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, and subtle earthy spice. Compared to the more powerful Chambertin wines, Chapelle-Chambertin tends to be more delicate, with soft tannins and a graceful, nuanced palate. While it may not have the same aging potential or density as its more renowned neighbors, in top vintages it can mature beautifully over 10–20 years.
