Churchill's Port, founded by Johnny Graham in 1981, stands as a distinguished Port wine producer in Portugal's Douro Valley. Named after Sir Winston Churchill, Johnny Graham's wife's godfather, the winery has garnered acclaim for its commitment to quality and traditional winemaking methods.
Specializing in a range of Ports, including Vintage Ports, Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Ports, and Tawny Ports, Churchill's showcases the diverse styles and aging characteristics inherent in the region. The Quinta da Gricha estate, owned by Churchill's, contributes to the production of these high-quality wines, capturing the essence of the Douro Valley's terroir.
Churchill's philosophy revolves around a hands-on approach to winemaking, emphasizing meticulous grape selection, traditional foot treading of grapes, and careful aging in oak barrels.
