The estate covers roughly 14 hectares and focuses primarily on Pinot Noir, with only small amounts of Chardonnay produced. Its wines come from some of the most revered vineyards in Burgundy, including the legendary Musigny Grand Cru, as well as Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru and top Premier Cru sites such as Les Amoureuses and Les Fuées, alongside the monopole Clos de la Maréchale in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Mugnier wines are celebrated for their elegance, finesse, and purity rather than sheer power, often showing delicate floral aromatics, red fruit, and silky tannins with excellent aging potential. Because production is limited and the quality consistently exceptional, the domaine has achieved “cult” status among collectors worldwide.
