Jean‑Luc Jamet is a well‑regarded French winemaker from the Northern Rhône region, based in Ampuis, France, best known for producing quality Syrah wines, especially from the Côte‑Rôtie appellation. Until 2013 he worked with his brother Jean‑Paul at the family estate Domaine Jamet, a prestigious producer in the region, but after more than two decades they decided to split the estate and Jean‑Luc started his own domaine, Vignoble (or Domaine) Jean‑Luc Jamet, using half of the original vineyards and building his own winery.

At his estate Jean‑Luc and his son Benoît manage about eight hectares of vineyards, with around five hectares in Côte‑Rôtie, plus holdings for Côtes‑du‑Rhône and Vin de Pays wines. His wines are crafted with careful vineyard work and minimal intervention to express the unique terroirs of his parcels on both Côte Blonde and Côte Brune slopes.

His flagship red wine is the Côte‑Rôtie “Terrasses”, a Syrah‑based wine known for its depth and quality, while he also produces other wines such as Côtes‑du‑Rhône L’Enclave and various Rhône and IGP bottlings. Jean‑Luc Jamet’s wines are respected for their purity, complexity and value among fans of Northern Rhône Syrah.
