TASTING NOTES: The winemaking team at Ceretto should be proud of these results. The 2013 Barolo Bricco Rocche is a complete and centered wine with depth, harmony and enticing complexity. You immediately notice the tension and energy in this wine. It is buzzing with youthful character but it also has the solid tannic structure and the balanced acidity to carry it forward over the years. The Castiglione Falletto township, where the Bricco Rocche vineyard is located, has performed beautifully across the board in this classic vintage.

Ceretto

About Ceretto

Ceretto, founded in 1930 by Riccardo Ceretto and expanded by his sons Bruno and Marcello, stands as a venerable estate in the Langhe region of Piemonte, Italy. This family-owned winery has earned international acclaim for its commitment to crafting exceptional wines that epitomize the terroir and traditions of Barolo and Barbaresco.

The vineyards of Ceretto are strategically located across prime sites in Barolo and Barbaresco, where Nebbiolo thrives in the region's calcareous marl soils. These soils, coupled with diverse microclimates, impart complexity and depth to the wines, which also include Barbera, Dolcetto, and Arneis varieties.

Ceretto's winemaking philosophy blends traditional practices with modern techniques, emphasizing sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention to allow the true expression of the grapes to shine. This approach ensures that each wine reflects its unique terroir while maintaining the highest standards of quality and authenticity.

The estate's portfolio is anchored by its acclaimed Barolo and Barbaresco wines, revered for their elegance, structure, and ability to age gracefully. These wines reveal notes of red berries, roses, tar, and earth, showcasing the depth and complexity inherent in Nebbiolo.

Beyond its flagship Nebbiolo wines, Ceretto produces a range of other varietals including Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Langhe Arneis, and Moscato d'Asti, each crafted with the same dedication to quality and respect for tradition.

Ceretto's wines have earned widespread praise from critics and enthusiasts alike for their authenticity and sense of place. Visiting the estate offers guests a chance to explore its vineyards and cellars, providing a firsthand look into the winemaking process and the family's rich heritage.

With its unwavering commitment to excellence and sustainability, Ceretto continues to be a beacon of quality in the Piemonte wine landscape. The estate's wines not only reflect the unique terroir of the Langhe but also embody the Ceretto family's passion for producing wines that captivate and inspire.
