| TASTING NOTES: | Tasted blind at the chateau, this bottle is better than previous examples that I have tasted. The nose has more vigour with more fruit intensity, though still with those scents of wild mushrooms (cepes) and truffle, sous-bois scents emerging with coaxing. The palate is medium-bodied and quite rounded and fresh on the entry. Not a complex Lagrange but a very cohesive, harmonious texture with dark cherries and Earl Grey towards the finish. Very fine. |
