| TASTING NOTES: | A number of responsible tasters I know have judged L'Evangile's 1993 to be among the finest wines of the vintage. It is unquestionably excellent,possibly outstanding. The color is dark ruby and the nose offers L'Evangile's bewitching blend of violets,truffles,and black-raspberries. Medium-bodied,ripe,pure,and well-balanced,with moderate to high tannin in the finish,its austerity and high tannin level may make an outstanding rating after bottling difficult to achieve.
