| TASTING NOTES: | A highly complex mélange exhibits notes of plum, violets, truffle, earth and plenty of sauvage character. The intensely mineral-driven flavors are shaped by relatively fine-grained tannins as well as plenty of energy on the pure, balanced and linear finish. This is presently highly-restrained and youthfully austere and will require some time to flesh out; as such it is one of the Roumier 2011s that is not likely to be especially accessible young. |
