| TASTING NOTES: | The 2020 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is promising, delivering aromas of honeyed pears, beeswax, confit citrus and baking spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping palate that's bright and open-knit. If it gains in tension with additional time on the lees, it will make my score seem a little conservative, but the vines here are still young after their recent replanting. |
