| TASTING NOTES: | A dense purple even with some blacker notes. Fully saturated fruit on the nose, but so classy! Neither the vintage nor the winemaking have interfered with the innate quality of the vineyard. The bouquet offers steadily greater riches including some blackberry and blackcurrant. Stops short of tarry. Some suggestion of stems. Coffee notes, dark bramble fruit. Now the vineyard is a little submerged. Now it is back again. Certainly, the most complex wine of the five. And with an extraordinary finish. |
