TASTING NOTES:	Les Amoureuses 2023 from de Vogüé is superb, with lovely bright pomegranate and plum fruit aromas and hints of violets, ginger and clove, all underscored by firm minerality. The most alluring aspect of the wine, however, is the velvet texture; it is focused, intense and manages to be ethereal and concentrated at the same time. After replanting a large swath of the vineyard, the remaining plant material is truly top-notch. Ideally, one will give this beauty five to 10 years to open, but this is a wine that will age for decades.
