| TASTING NOTES: | The 2017 Chinon La Rougerie is from two different plots on the same pure clay soils (planted with a sélection massale in 1952 with a density of 5,000 vines per hectare and in 2007 with 7,700 vines per hectare) and aged in Burgundian barrels for 18 months, the wine displays a dark red color and a deep, pure, intense and elegant meaty bouquet of dark and red berry aromas intertwined with toasty and floral notes. Smooth and silky on the firm palate, this is a full-bodied, elegant, refined and textural Chinon with a vibrantly fresh structure, serious tannins and a sustainable and fresh mineral finish. Bertrand considers La Rougerie as the "grand cru" of his range. |

All wines are packed with the utmost care in a firm case, custom made for the shipment of wines. You can pick up your order yourself or have it delivered to an address of your choice. Once the wines have been collected by UPS, you will be provided with an UPS tracking code. Orders placed and paid before 13:00 on a working day, will be sent the same day.
