| TASTING NOTES: | Surprisingly deep colour here, compared to 2013. The bouquet is noticeably richer but also less fine. Shows the weight which I associate with Lavaut. Thicker texture, good acidity more fruit all round. The bouquet starts to evolve quite quickly, at least for this bottle 34 Certainly not as persistent. 2014 was the first year of taking a barrel out of the regular cuvée to make the Vieilles Vignes 1923 cuvée. |
