| TASTING NOTES: | More ethereal than its decidedly terrestrial Chorey-lès-Beaune cousin, Emmanuel Rouget's 2015 Savigny-lès-Beaune Village offers up an expressive nose of cherry and strawberry, mingling with top notes of violet. On the palate, the wine is silky and medium to full-bodied, framed by supple tannins and endowed with a juicy, gourmand core of fruit. This is an immensely delicious Savigny. |
