TASTING NOTES:	The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Boudots 1er Cru is a blend of young vines planted in 2018 and old vines that Mathilde Grivot speculated could be up to a century old. The last vintage exclusively from the old vines was 2015). It has a complex bouquet, with a mixture of red and black fruit, potpourri, crushed minerals and light sea spray scents that evoke images of the sea. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red berry fruit. It's the spiciest of Grivot's NSGs, with commendable weight and impressive mineralite toward the focused, intense finish. This has a bright future ahead.
