| TASTING NOTES: | The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Champs Perrières Vieilles Vignes was less expressive on the nose than some of Tardy's other cuvées. It's a bit bashful and earthier at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with cranberry, redcurrant, black pepper and orange rind on the entry. It has decent weight, cohering toward the finish with a Morey-like, slightly ferrous aftertaste. This will be fascinating to revisit in bottle. |
