| TASTING NOTES: | A brilliant beautiful glowing mid purple. The bouquet is hauntingly fine and there is such a wave of beautiful ripe fruit with a highlighted floral note. Absolutely not a massive wine but wonderfully nuanced and impeccably balanced. The fine-grained tannins scarcely poke their noses above the parapet and the acidity adds definition while being entirely folded into the fruit. Nicolas knows that they have made a great Chambertin this year. Light menthol at the finish. |
