| TASTING NOTES: | Along with the 2016, I also tasted the 2015 La Diva, where I could see the character of the vintage clearly marked, with some similarities with the 2015 ViƱas Viejas de Soria, open, floral, elegant with ripeness but without excess. This comes from extremely old vines, this year with 19% white Albillo grapes, fermented in small oak vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in second use oak barrels for 20 months. It combines elegance with power, but with the elegance more noticeable, and it wears the ripeness of the year very nicely. The tannins are fine, refined rather, and the balance is great. 478 bottles and 25 magnums were filled in July 2017. |
