| TASTING NOTES: | The 2016 Traiser Bastei Riesling GG offers a clear, fresh and coolish, rather classic, elegant and lemon-scented Riesling bouquet compared to the 2017 sample. Rich and round on the palate, this is a crystalline, straight and salty, dense and tightly structured yet very elegant and homogeneous yet thrilling dry Riesling with a seriously long and tensioned finish. The 2016 is very linear and complex and a picture-book Riesling from the Traisen Bastei. This wine was bottled in June 2018. |
