| TASTING NOTES: | Since I last published on Ledru's wines, at least two releases of her NV Brut Grand Cru have in fact come to market. The latest offers up an inviting bouquet of honeycomb, pear, toasted nuts and praline, followed by a medium to full-bodied, pillowy palate that's nicely concentrated and precise, with fine depth at the core and chalky back-end grip. This note was written from a 375-milliliter bottle from my cellar, as I'll be keeping my 750s for at least a few years before opening them. |
