| TASTING NOTES: | Opening in the glass with a youthfully reserved bouquet of white currants, citrus oil, warm bread and wet stones, Gonet's 2011 Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is full-bodied, deep and tensile, with a racy spine of acidity, a fleshy core and a long, saline finish. Mineral and elegantly austere, this is nonetheless beautifully balanced and represents a decided success in a challenging vintage. |
