| TASTING NOTES: | The 2021 Pinot Noir Seabiscuit Zotovich Vineyard comes from 18-year-old vines, and the wine was matured for 17 months in 57% new French oak. It's bursting with cranberry and blackberry preserves, blood orange, pipe tobacco and iron, plus forest and autumnal accents in the undercurrent. The medium-bodied palate is just as layered, its fruit concentrated yet nuanced. It has a finely chalky texture, fireworks of fresh acidity and a long finish streaked with dark spices. 475 cases were made. |
