| TASTING NOTES: | The juicy and fresh 2015 Pencopolitano blends grapes and places: Carignan, Syrah, Malbec, Carmenère and Cinsault from Itata and Cauquenes. It matured in concrete and stainless steel vats. The nose is an intoxicating mixture of wild flowers, aromatic herbs and spices, with bright red fruit, hints of cassis and pollen, with quite a lot of complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins and that minerality of the granite soils that provides very good freshness and a tasty and long finish. This is a superb red blend for the upper segment of the by-the-glass market. |
