| TASTING NOTES: | The 2012 Ried Kranachberg Sauvignon Blanc is very clear and aromatic on the nose, displaying ripe apricot and mango aromas intertwined with spicy/herbal aromas. Full-bodied yet pure and fresh in the mouth, this is a lean and elegant Kranachberg with a rather vertical structure. The tannins are fresh and grippy, the acidity clear and precise, the finish tight and aromatic. The 2012 reminds me a bit of the 1999. |
