| TASTING NOTES: | The Hecklingen 2017 Spätburgunder Schlossberg GG opens with a pure, deep and fine, aromatic but also flinty/stony bouquet of black berries and crushed stones. Silky, lush and generous on the palate, this is a remarkably vital and tensioned Pinot with concentration, grip and very fine, crumbly tannins. The finish is long, fresh and tensioned, with lots of energy. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2019. |
