| TASTING NOTES: | Thet 2020 Corton Le Rognet Grand Cru comes from contracted fruit, though Thibaut Clerget manages the vineyard himself. It includes 40% whole bunch with 50% new oak. It has a well-defined, quite taut bouquet with blackberry, briary and light loamy aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, vivid red berry fruit laced with orange zest, leading to a lively and focused finish. Excellent. |
