| TASTING NOTES: | The 2013 Domaine Sauzet Montrachet is another absolutely classic example of its great terroir, with more depth, power and broader shoulders than the three grand crus that preceded it in the cellars this year. The outstanding nose offers up an aromatic constellation of peach, apple, tangerine, chalky soil tones, lemon blossoms and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and quite primary in personality, with a stunning core, racy acids and a very, very long, adolescent and powerful finish. These are four simply stunning grand crus in the Sauzet cellars in 2013, and it is really hard to choose a favorite amongst them, as they are all quintessential examples of their respective vineyards.
